White Birch Veneer 
Wood color issue, I have reached dead end! PLEASE HELP! PLEASE!?
I have furniture in my room that are colored “maple” or “beech veneer” like the bookcase in following link.

Now I need a desk, but I can’t find ANYTHING that fits in the space. And I was thinking of getting a desk with black top or even white, but my mom is nagging the hell outta me. I need a desk, but she is being stubborn that she won’t buy one unless it matches the rest of fcuking furniture.
the closest I can find is “birch effect” which is a couple shades lighter than what we have. What do I do? Please give me some suggestions. I have a black and white theme in my room with drapes, rugs, pictures and etc.
Tell your mom, it’s only furniture. Not life and death.
